Commenting well on LinkedIn has a real cost. You read a post, you have something worth saying, and then you spend four minutes shaping it into something you would actually publish under your own name. Most people skip it, or leave something forgettable.
This extension collapses that into a click and a review. It writes into the comment box. You edit it, and you decide whether to post it.
How it works
Add your own API key
Choose OpenAI or Anthropic in the extension settings, paste your key, and pick a model. Everything saves as you type. You pay your provider directly, at cost.
Pick an angle on any post
Under the comment box you get an AI Responder button. Choose how you want to respond — ask a question, share a story, offer an insight, congratulate, or agree — and optionally add a line of your own thinking to steer the draft.
Edit, then decide
The draft appears in the comment box. Regenerate it if it is not quite right, edit it until it sounds like you, and post it — or do not. The extension never sends anything itself.
What makes it different
It learns your voice from your own writing
Paste two or three comments you have actually written into the settings. They are sent with every request so the model copies your rhythm and register, not your topics. This does more for voice than any style description.
It never posts for you
No auto-commenting, no bulk mode, no scheduling. Every comment that leaves your account is one you read and sent yourself. That is a deliberate design decision, not a missing feature.
Bring your own key, no subscription
Your key, your model, your costs. There is no account to create, no monthly fee, and no intermediary service between your browser and the AI provider you chose.
No backend, no tracking
There is no server on my side. No analytics, no telemetry, no browsing history. The extension runs on linkedin.com only, and reads a post only at the moment you ask it for a draft.
Why I built it
I believe in building to learn. This one started as a personal itch: I read a lot on LinkedIn, I often have something to add, and the gap between having the thought and publishing a decent version of it was quietly costing me an hour a week.
The interesting design question turned out not to be the AI part. It was where to draw the line on automation. Tools that comment for you produce the noise everyone complains about. Keeping a human in the loop on every single comment is what makes the output worth reading — and it is why the extension stops at the draft.

None is sent to us, because there is no server. Your API key is stored on your own device, your preferences sync through your Chrome profile, and the text of a post is read only at the moment you ask for a draft - then sent directly to your chosen AI provider. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Does it work in languages other than English?
Yes. The extension instructs the model to reply in the same language as the post, so a Swedish post gets a Swedish draft. Your saved example comments can be in any language too.
