About this talk
The Working Backwards methodology: start from the customer and work backward. This is hands-on, not a lecture about Amazon.
Participants learn to apply the PRFAQ process and customer-obsessed thinking to their own challenges.
What your audience leaves with
The Working Backwards steps: start with the customer, ideate, write the PRFAQ, run experiments, then build and iterate.
Practice writing a press release and FAQ from the future, before anything is built.
Customer-obsessed thinking applied to a challenge from your own work.
Where this comes from
I spent 5 years at Amazon Web Services, including 3 years leading the AWS Innovation Program in the Nordics, where I shared Working Backwards with enterprises across the region.
That work included seven Working Backwards engagements with KONE, each starting from a real customer problem.
Formats and language
Keynote, 30-60 minutes. Half-day workshop, 3-4 hours. Full-day workshop, 6-7 hours. All talks are delivered in English, in person or online, and each one is customized to your audience after a briefing call.
